• Congratulations to the Arlington 10 year-olds on winning the Southeast Region and good luck in the World Series.
• Best of luck to the ASBR 13s, 14s, & 13-16s in their respective SE Region Tournaments.

District 6 is happy to have hosted 2 Virginia State Tournaments this year.

• Arlington Babe Ruth hosted the State 12/70 tournament beginning the 3rd of July.  This was an expanded tournament, and welcomed 16 teams.  The games were played in Arlington and in Herndon.
  • The winner of the 12/70 state tournament is Pioneer Baseball League who  advanced to the Southeast Regionals, held in Julington Creek, Florida, 
• Arlington Senior Babe Ruth hosted the State 14 year-olds tournament
  • The tournament was won by ASBR who will advance to the SE Regionals.

The Virginia Babe Ruth League District 6 champions are:

• The 13 year-olds champions are from ASBR
• The 14 year-olds champions are from ASBR. In the State Toutnament, ASBR will participate as the host team and GVBRL will be the D6 representative.
• The 13-16 year-olds champions are from ASBR
